THE TRUE HERITAGE OF BHARAT
ITS COMPOSITE CULTURE

Bharat, the land of Bharat, however, has a much older History. It is originally the land of the Dravidians of the Indus Valley Civilization, later cohabited by the Vedic people, war like nomads, who over ran the then unique flourishing civilization.

Cohabitation of the two, albeit over lorded by the latter, saw the composition of the Vedas, the Upanishads, the Vedant and Srimad Bhagwat Geeta, among many other puranic literature, all oral, till a vedic script was introduced in the 6th century BCE.

As the boundaries of the Indian Kings spread in the Asian Continent and the fame of the rich Indian subcontinent spread far and wide, there were many other invaders of our land followed. Alexander the Great, the Macedonian King was one of them. The hoardes of Muslim invaders were not far behind.

The Gaznis raided and plundered India's riches over a period of over three decades. The Gories, the Khiljies, the Tughlaks, the Saiyads, the Lodis and finally the Moghuls, followed suite. It is under the Moghuls that Pan-Indian Muslim Empire was formed. The Muslim culture and community became a part and parcel of the subcontinent.

The story of the Indian riches finally brought the European invaders, like the Portuguese#, the French and the English. These invaders succeeded in subjugating either small or swathes/states or nearly the entire country. In addition to looting its riches, they imposed their own politics, culture and language.

Through all of the above, India absorbed the cultures and languages of the invaders and formed a composite culture while retaining its old heritage.

Thus was born the Composite Indian Culture of India, (CICI), one of the shining examples of CICIA.

Here below, I have comp[ose an example of CICI.
